The elegant restaurant has magnificent views of Reeth green, the village, and the Harkerside Fells. It glints with polished silver, candles and immaculately folded napkins. This is the venue of a gastronomic oasis.

Paul Salonga, trained by the late Peter Carwardine for over 15 years, now runs the kitchen in the same high class mode of cooking, offering a daily changing menu of locally sourced and fresh ingredients.

The sensitively prepared dishes are served in generous portions and are complemented by a wine cellar presided over by Derek Hickson, whose knowledge and eye for a good wine are unrivalled. He is always willing to discuss suitability prior to selection. You can order a full bottle of the house wine and pay only for what is consumed.
