The charming country house is truly unique.
Ian and his friendly staff have a wealth of local knowledge and are eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Burgoyne will always offer the warmest of welcomes and make your stay truly memorable.
Previously known as Hill House it was made into guest accommodation and then a hotel in the years after World War 2.
There is evidence that an earlier property stood on this site and their cosy fireplace in one of the two sitting rooms is believed to pre-date to the original house. The country house is a truly unique building full of original features.
Do not worry if you can’t bear the thought of leaving your pooch at home. The Burgoyne welcomes well-behaved dogs.
All well behaved dogs are welcome. There is a charge of £15 per day if your dog sleeps in the room. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you are bringing your extended family along.
