Hotel Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all reservations made at The Burgoyne Hotel, Reeth, North Yorkshire.

Reservations made through our website are processed through our booking partner FreeToBook.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from our booking system.

It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all booking details are correct at the time of confirmation.

2. Deposit & Payment

All bookings require a 10% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

The remaining balance for the stay is payable on departure from the hotel.

The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or amendment.

The Burgoyne Hotel reserves the right to cancel bookings where payment details are invalid or payment cannot be processed.

3. Cancellation Policy

As a 10% non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking, this amount will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.

If a booking is cancelled close to the arrival date or in the event of a no-show, additional charges may apply.

Full cancellation details will be provided during the booking process.

4. No-Shows

If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled arrival date and has not cancelled the reservation, the hotel reserves the right to charge the full booking value.

5. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in: from 3:00 PM

Check-out: by 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request but cannot be guaranteed.

6. Dogs

The Burgoyne welcomes well-behaved dogs in selected rooms.

The following conditions apply:

  • A charge of £10 per dog, per night applies
  • A maximum of 2 dogs per room is permitted
  • Dogs must not be allowed on beds or furniture
  • Dogs must not be left unattended in guest rooms
  • Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant
  • Dogs are welcome in the bar area of the hotel

Guests are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning required as a result of their dog’s stay.

7. Restaurant Reservations

Restaurant reservations are recommended and can be made via our website or by contacting the hotel.

Hotel guests are encouraged to book tables in advance to avoid disappointment.

8. Damage Policy

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.

The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest’s card for the cost of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning if required.

9. Parking

Complimentary parking is available for guests staying at the hotel.

Parking is at the owner’s risk and the hotel accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
