Mo and Julia Usman are extremely pleased to announce Consultant Chef, Dan Graham, will be joining the Burgoyne Hotel team in a senior role to support the current highly experienced and capable chef, David Spencer.
Dan who is originally from near Hexham in Northumberland, has previously worked the length and breadth of the country. His journey included training at Roux restaurants in London and working for such well known establishments as Le Gavroche where, he says, he was transformed from being a good chef to a great chef. His last appointment was Head Chef at the Talbot Hotel in Malton, where James Martin was the previous Head Chef. Dan has decided to branch out on his own but wanted to keep a firm hand in an established hotel.
The Burgoyne was able to offer a regular consultant chef opening to Dan, who will compliment the existing high standards of the Burgoyne Hotel in the very capable hands of David Spencer who has cooked for royal circles as far a field as Dubai and has taken the Burgoyne’s kitchen offerings to a very high level already and effortlessly provides sublime
